Hi and welcome to Happy Sunday Studio

I'm Anna, the proud mama of two brilliant boys and the passionate founder behind this small independent business.

After living in New Zealand for many years, we returned to sunny Bournemouth on the south coast of England where at 38 weeks pregnant with our 2nd child I was made redundant. Determined to create a fulfilling and flexible career while embracing the joys of motherhood, I embarked on this incredible journey and was able to turn adversity into an opportunity.

My 3rd child, Happy Sunday Studio, was born. Supported by my amazing husband who helps with the cutting of dowels and making of incredible photo props often used in my product photography, Happy Sunday Studio is truly a family run business.

Family and friends

They are at the core of everything I do at Happy Sunday Studio. Crafting handmade gifts for loved ones has always been something I’ve enjoyed and often my best ideas have come from a unique gift made for my son's birthday or a Christmas decoration made for a dear friend.

Transforming this “hobby" into a successful business has been a dream come true and when you choose to shop at Happy Sunday Studio, you join our creative family and contribute to making this passion something that helps support our family and gives me a space to thrive alongside motherhood.

This is also why all our packaging is recyclable and the materials we use are natural, organic and fair-trade wherever possible, creating our heirloom pieces which I hope you will treasure for a lifetime. In this way we can do our part in minimising waste and preserving the beauty of our Planet for our children's future.
